Before Tony’s, there was Positano’s & Servadi Cucina.
It started with Toni.
Positano’s & Servadi's was created by Toni, who poured 28 years into the restaurant and the Beecroft community. For almost three decades, the venue was shaped by Toni’s warmth, generosity, food and genuine hospitality.
The family behind Tony’s had known Toni personally for more than 15 years, and he remains an important part of their lives and the story of the venue.
When the opportunity came to create something new in the space, the intention was never to erase what had come before.
Tony’s Woodfire was named in Toni’s honour.
It was created with Toni’s blessing, encouragement and full support, as a tribute to the values he had brought to Beecroft for so many years, warmth, generosity, community, good food and genuine hospitality.
Tony’s represents a new chapter rather than a replacement of the old one.
The family wants to honour Toni and the history of Positano’s & Servadi's while creating something that reflects their own family, their own style of hospitality and where they want to take the venue next.
